Charters: More of a necessity than a luxury
As he prepares to resume operations in Maharashtra next month, Karanpal Singh, Founder, Hunch Ventures and BLADE India, explains why charter services are best suited for the post-Covid world and talks about his expansion plans to other metros in India
Private travel had been witnessing a steady growth chart, but Covid-19 changed all that. However, as destinations open tourism facilities and people start going back to work, the private charter business also foresees demand coming back to normal, not just from a leisure and business travel point of return, but also from other segments. In a chat with ETTravelWorld, Karanpal Singh, Founder, Hunch Ventures and BLADE India, says that while private aviation has seen many changes over the years, none have been as drastic or global as the Covid-19 pandemic. As the new reality of life with Covid sets in, and as travel restrictions start to ease, Singh anticipates demand for private jet services to boom as people regain their appetite for travel in the safest way possible.
